Merry Skullmas
I recently received my first order of yummy smelling rubber from Lost Coast Designs! It was right about the time they announced a holiday card contest using one of their stamps. I instantly knew I wanted to use something a bit eccentric which is way more me that a traditional holiday card. I finally decided on just the right one. The stamp I used is called White Nose Sugar Skull and comes in unmounted, cling mounted and a mounted version. I am in love with cling stamps these days so I order only those, but I am glad the other options are there. I embossed the background and lightly swooshed a little black over the raised portions. Next I found some awesome little ribbon from The Paper Studio for the side and some sparkly Santa hats for the top and taaa daaaaa....a merry skullmas card was born.

Three Flying Flower Girls by Lost coast Designs
Ooh la la...I love these new Lost Coast Designs stamps I am using today! I used the starburst dies from Stampin' Up to die cut their faces and raise them with a 3-D glue dot. I just love this color blue ink pad as well. It's the color manganese blue from Ranger!
Give Yourself A Hand
I love creating art with something other than a regular shaped card. I have recently discovered a stamp company called Lost Coast Designs and am not slightly obsessed with these awesome stamps. I think the stamp designer there does a fantastic job. I have been stamping for years so I get a little hard to impress I suppose, but these stamps are very artsy and odd, which I think is a PERFECT combination. I have been ordering from Lost Coast for the last few weeks now, and they have excellent customer service and quick shipping time. Today is the first day I have inked up my new stamps, but I am in love with them, and can't wait to get more. The main stamp image I used is called Feather Diva with Face, combined with the Small Doodle Alphabet for my wording, a little Dylusions spray ink and some inspiration.... I love it.
Spooky Cards
Here are my two card designs for Halloween this year. The well dressed skeleton lady is from Cherry Pie Art Stamps. The second card here was a blast to make. I used the Tim Holtz bottle dies, covered the bottles with Diamond Glaze and dripped in a deep red re-inker to have the bottles all oooey and gooey! I loved the 3-D blood goo feel of it all, and I got a great response on all I sent these out too.

Monday Stampin' Up Cards
Here are a few more cards created with new Stampin' Up product. The first two cards are done using the SU arrows embossing folder on pg. 226 of the new 2014-2015 SU catalog. I used a waterbrush and re-inkers for color and the butterfly embosslit die called Beautiful Wings on pg. 229.
The third card is a sparkly card for my cousin that used the star framelit dies on pg. 231. and the last card is my favorite new color combo of crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding, and coastal cabana. The stamp set I used is called By The Tide and can be found on pg. 131. I think this is my new favorite set and I see lots that can be done with this one!

Boots and Flowers
Today's cards feature more Stampin' Up sets. The first one used the cute boot from the set on pg. 136 called Bootiful Occasions. I love this set and use all 4 of the boots quite a bit. I think it's almost time to get out the Halloween boot out.
The next card is used the stamp set on pg. 151 called Mixed Bunch. The popped up flower is a real go to stamp for me, and I use it on sooooo many projects. It coordinates with the flower punch called Blossom, and I think is a must have for quick fabulous cards!

Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, Oh My!!!!
I told you all I have really fallen for this new Stampin' Up color called Blackberry Bliss, and the Hello Honey looks perfect with it. I created these 3 cards today. The first card uses the honeycomb embossing folder, the banners framelits dies, Moonlight designer series paper and several sizes of SU circle punches
The middle card featured here uses the new Hexagon Hive die on pg 228 of the current catalog. I love this die, but I cut it out of white and tried to sponge color it with Blackberry bliss ink. I think I should have just cut it out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock instead. The paper used is from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper and the punch is the Blossom punch and stamped with Mixed Bunch stamp set. I just love any and all stamp sets with a matching die or framelits. I think either of those things make card making a breeze.
The last card used the same Moonlight Designer Series Paper, banner framelits, and the Perfect Pennants stamp set on pg.16.

Kind Koala
OMG, couldn't you just eat this little koala bear up. I think it has my vote of the cutest thing in the new Stampin' Up catalog this year. I used the new $6.95 Designers Series paper stack called Moonlight, trimmed a tag to size, added the layering banner framelit dies and I was all set. The second card features more of my favorite new in color-blackberry bliss and the new honeycomb embossing folder. In this picture the color seems hard to see, but it's so luscious in person.
Summer Birthday Cards
I whipped up these little birthday cards for my two cousin's that have birthdays very close together and almost always celebrate together. The second card uses my new favorite Stampin' up color combo-Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. I also used the Stampin Up new starbusrt framelit dies with this one and the matching stamp set called Starburst Sayings.
