Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey, Oh My!!!!

 I told you all I have really fallen for this new Stampin' Up color called Blackberry Bliss, and the Hello Honey looks perfect with it. I created these 3 cards today. The first card uses the honeycomb embossing folder, the banners framelits dies, Moonlight designer series paper and several sizes of SU circle punches

     The middle card featured here uses the new Hexagon Hive die on pg 228 of the current catalog. I love this die, but I cut it out of white and tried to sponge color it with Blackberry bliss ink. I think I should have just cut it out of Blackberry Bliss cardstock instead. The paper used is from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper and the punch is the Blossom punch and stamped with Mixed Bunch stamp set. I just love any and all stamp sets with a matching die or framelits. I think either of those things make card making a breeze.

     The last card used the same Moonlight Designer Series Paper, banner framelits, and the Perfect Pennants stamp set on pg.16.

Kind Koala

 OMG, couldn't you just eat this little koala bear up. I think it has my vote of the cutest thing in the new Stampin' Up catalog this year. I used the new $6.95 Designers Series paper stack called Moonlight, trimmed a tag to size, added the layering banner framelit dies and I was all set. The second card features more of my favorite new in color-blackberry bliss and the new honeycomb embossing folder. In this picture the color seems hard to see, but it's so luscious in person.

Summer Birthday Cards

 I whipped up these little birthday cards for my two cousin's that have birthdays very close together and almost always celebrate together. The second card uses my new favorite Stampin' up color combo-Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey. I also used the Stampin Up new starbusrt framelit dies with this one and the matching stamp set called Starburst Sayings.

 Here are a couple of new cards I have made with the new Stampin' Up wood grain embossing folder and the ever so popular bird builder punch. I did the first card as a 41st anniversary card and the next one for my dear cousin who has always loved birds.

Cold Weather Stamping

 We have had unusually cold and snowy weather here on the East Coast for over a week straight. Usually it comes and goes faster than that. On the bright side, I have been stamping a little while in the house and here's what I have come up with in the last bit.

Holiday Papercraft Creations

 I made these Rudolph repair kits for a few friends this year with Red Hots candy-yummy and fun! I also did a more traditional card with some memory box dies with the holiday window and snow flakes on the bottom.

December Jewelry Creations

 I have been really inspired this month with my jewelry making. I found these two awesome butterfly wing pendants and just had to create something with them. Here's what I came up with. The red necklace is much prettier and brighter in person. I think the holiday season in general inspired that one!

My Steampunk Angel

 I have had this pendant for quite a while, but had not created anything with it until today. I really like this piece and think it's very different for the artsy jewelry lover.

My Halloween 2013 Party!!!

 I had a little Halloween get together this year so here are a few pics of my favorite yummy treats I fixed. The first is of some coffin and tombstone brownies. The next one is individual skull cakes that I added gel icing eyes first them candy eyes on top. I also made some yummy cupcakes with skeleton hands and witch feet sticking up out of them, but I do need to learn not to take pictures in the dark. The picture quality of these are pretty bad, but it was fun. I tried my hand at chocolate mummy suckers, broom pretzels, and pumpkin suckers this year. I really enjoyed those-quick and easy to make-just my style! The next picture is of a witch I found at the store who really wanted to come to a nice little Halloween party so I took her home with me. The last picture is of some of the glasses I bought that my guests could choose from for a group photo at the end of the evening.

Shark Week Drink

 I love watching all of the Shark Week shows on the Discovery Channel this time of year, so I thought this would be the perfect time to show you the drink my friend had at lunch the other day at Joe's Crab Shak. I just love the blue ocean water in the glass, then pour in a tube of red like blood in the water! Actually I admire sharks and do not think they are just out to get us at all, but it's still an awesome drink!
