My Halloween 2013 Party!!!

I had a little Halloween get together this year so here are a few pics of my favorite yummy treats I fixed. The first is of some coffin and tombstone brownies. The next one is individual skull cakes that I added gel icing eyes first them candy eyes on top. I also made some yummy cupcakes with skeleton hands and witch feet sticking up out of them, but I do need to learn not to take pictures in the dark. The picture quality of these are pretty bad, but it was fun. I tried my hand at chocolate mummy suckers, broom pretzels, and pumpkin suckers this year. I really enjoyed those-quick and easy to make-just my style! The next picture is of a witch I found at the store who really wanted to come to a nice little Halloween party so I took her home with me. The last picture is of some of the glasses I bought that my guests could choose from for a group photo at the end of the evening.

My Halloween Display Shelf

I really enjoyed making this little Halloween altered art creation. The shelf itself is by Tim Holtz.

Shark Week Drink

I love watching all of the Shark Week shows on the Discovery Channel this time of year, so I thought this would be the perfect time to show you the drink my friend had at lunch the other day at Joe's Crab Shak. I just love the blue ocean water in the glass, then pour in a tube of red like blood in the water! Actually I admire sharks and do not think they are just out to get us at all, but it's still an awesome drink!

How many days until Halloween???

I love making Halloween cards. Here's another Impression Obsession background stamp used to make a quick and easy background. I don't know what I'm going to add to it yet, but I'm in a Halloween kind of mood for sure!

Halloween Background Card

I have been playing around with the Impression Obsession Cover a Car backgrounds today and here's what I came up with.

Up Up and Away Card

Just a little card I was working on today.

Delicate Flower Earrings

I have been making these little flower earrings all day. The only problem is I no longer want to have others buy them I want to keep them all for myself! haha

I'm in love with Simon Says Stamp....

Here's my latest order from Simon Says Stamp Company. It's a great company based in Ohio. I love their selection of everything and I love their specialty line too! SSS has really fast shipping which is great for me because anytime I order from somewhere I wait on pins and needles until it arrives. I have also recently fallen in love with these NEON inks and daubers by Hero Arts. It takes me back to my 80's childhood and dressing like Cyndi Lauper. I love these inks so much I wish I had ordered the full size stamp pad in them, but these cubes should last for a bit. I have been playing around with the Hero Arts set called Brushstroke and adore it combined with the neon inks! Well, several birthdays have manages to sneak up on my so I am off to make come cards!

Happy 4th of July 2013 and some Fireworks Stamps!

Here's my new 4th of July stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I always forget to buy a set until right until the time then it's too late. Once again this year I am too late to make cards with it, but I finally decided to go ahead and get one to have for next year so it won't happen again, and again! The real fireworks here have been beautiful tonight. I just love all the colors up there in the sky.

Gelato Love!!!!

Oh wow...I love these new gelatos. I have only recently heard of them, but they can make some wonderful backgrounds and what I really love is it can make them very fast. I have been watching tons of videos on them, and have learned so many different ways of using them with each video I see. I hope to get to play with more of these in the morning and have a card to post up here using these soon.

Mega Mount and Cover a Card Stamps

I'm 100% hooked on these Cover a Card stamps from Impression Obsession. I saw The Frugal Crafter use them on a video, and had to have them! I have background stamps already, but they are always so hard to get a good impression with. Now this mega mount with a handle has come out and the entire block is curved. I am shocked at what a difference it makes in stamping. It should get some award for the year-seriously. I didn't realize quite how many of these stamps I was getting because I ordered some before left on vacation and picked up some at the Scrapbook Superstore and before I knew it they added up to a whole stack of them. I do think these will be some of my most used stamps though, so that helps me justify it a little! haha
